Conditions for connecting a convergent product beeline. How to connect home internet for a ruble

The sun is getting hotter and hotter every day on the street and the snow almost everywhere has already come to naught, but the crisis, along with melting snowdrifts, is in no hurry to leave the Russian expanses. And in difficult economic conditions, market participants are forced to look for new ways to reduce costs, including for mobile communications.

Cellular operators themselves, in an attempt to retain old corporate customers and intercept new ones, are in a hurry to offer them special service conditions. So Beeline, which provides its services in the corporate market under the single brand Beeline Business, offers customers to use its converged products that combine the capabilities of both its mobile and fixed networks. Such convergent solutions allow companies to kill two birds with one stone - to reduce communication costs, and at the same time optimize their business processes.

Fixed-Mobile Convergence - convergence of mobile and fixed networks is possible at various levels. For example, the convergence of services makes it possible to implement a unified numbering plan, in which a mobile phone can call a fixed set using a short internal corporate number using *. This is not only convenient, as it reduces the time of calling the required employee, but also reduces communication costs due to the elimination of the reception link from the communication process. Beeline Business customers can currently use this service in 20 cities of Russia - regardless of which one is located mobile subscriber, he has the opportunity to make a call to a short corporate number from his cellular device. In addition, on the basis of a special platform, it is possible to implement intelligent call control with a flexible call forwarding function, the ability to create an address book, as well as black and white lists. With this structure, FMC will benefit companies with a large number of remote offices and a wide geographical presence. Moreover, along with voice services in converged networks using GPRS, EDGE and 3G channels, the possibility of organizing access to corporate networks, including internal databases, as well as personal information of users. Importantly, such connections are implemented without using the Internet. Therefore, due to the reliable security of cellular communication lines and the corporate networks themselves, it is ensured high degree privacy when accessing VPN from both mobile phones, including BlackBerry, and laptops equipped with modems.

Convergence allows the flexibility to use other technical solutions. So, where there is no possibility of laying a telephone cable, cellular channels can be used as the “last mile”. For organization telephone communication and access to the Internet in such cases, "Beeline Business" offers its customers to use the product "Office in 5 minutes". With the included 3G router manufactured Huawei, where there is no possibility of connecting to fixed communication networks, the user can "distribute" a signal in the office cellular communication via Wi-Fi to several computers at once. Also in the near future it is planned to launch a similar device manufactured by ZTE, equipped with a built-in battery in case of power failure. Such routers can work both in conventional GSM networks and in 3G networks. Importantly, when using similar decisions a corporate client gets the opportunity to use mobile communications at fixed rates.

Another advantage of network convergence various types is to provide the client with a single "point of entry", which implies the presence of one service manager and a common account for all communication services.

But perhaps the most important tool for attracting new customers and retaining old ones is price convergence. In this area, the parameters of the proposals of mobile operators are limited only by the imagination of their marketers and the principle of expediency. For example, mobile and fixed-line subscribers can take advantage of various price incentives, ranging from special tariffs to various types of discounts and bonuses. At the same time, offers can be packaged in a variety of ways, including tariffs or only for different kinds telephone communication or a combination of communication services and additional services.

Thus, within the framework of Beeline Business programs, corporate subscribers are offered preferential rates for calls between company employees, as well as for long-distance and international calls. Another type of offer is volume discounts. In this case, the client can receive either preferential prices for the main service or discounts for other services. A striking example of such an offer for convergent services from Beeline Business is the 20% Savings campaign, designed for fixed-line customers in Moscow and St. Petersburg. When concluding a corporate contract for Beeline mobile communications, customers are provided with a discount of up to 20% of their bills in the form of a package of free mobile minutes or a discount on fixed-line communications.

Another similar offer “Half a year in your favor”, effective from April 13, is designed for both new customers and those customers who make additional connections, already having a mobile or fixed connection from Beeline Business. As part of this offer, companies that have entered into an agreement for the connection of a fixed / mobile communications or who purchase new mobile numbers receive a 100% discount for up to 6 months on local outgoing calls between mobile and fixed/mobile phones of their employees. The campaign is held until July 8, 2009 throughout Russia.

As a successful implementation of the project to provide convergent communication services in Beeline Business, they give an example of concluding a contract with the Renault automobile concern in Russia, which has about 2,000 employees.

But Beeline is ready to provide such services not only to large corporations. Currently, the operator is working to expand the geography and target audience solutions based on FMC.

The presented tariffs from Beeline are almost identical in their options at first glance. But if you start to delve into their subtleties, you can find out that they are radically different from each other. We will try to figure out what is the advantage of the All in One 3 tariff plan from Beeline compared to others.

Description

The tariff plan "All in One 3" is the golden mean in the entire range of Beeline tariffs. It is suitable for those who like to communicate by talking on the phone, surf the Internet but at the same time do it all within reasonable limits. The included packages of minutes, Internet traffic and SMS messages will be enough for use for a whole month and at the same time not wasting big money. Beeline also offers free home Internet and TV when connected to this tariff line.

You will be able to use all the services of the tariff not only in your home region but throughout Russia. Also, one of the advantages of the tariff is the daily debiting of funds from your account. That is, you do not need to worry now that there should be n-amount of money on your account on a certain day of the month. And forgetting about the write-off, you will not wake up with blocked access to the Internet or the inability to make a phone call. It is enough to have a positive balance to use mobile services.

mobile connection

As in other tariffs of the line, the All in One 3 tariff has a package of free minutes available for calls to numbers of other operators in the home region and on trips throughout Russia. For calls, 1800 minutes are available for all directions, it should be noted that when making calls within the network, package minutes are not spent. If you use up the entire package of minutes, then each subsequent minute of a call to other operators in Russia will be 1.5 rubles per minute. But within the network, you can communicate unlimitedly for 0 rubles.

For surfing the Internet and watching videos, 30 GB of mobile Internet traffic is available for a month, which can be used throughout Russia without additional payments. given volume should be enough for comfortable use, but if you run out of traffic limit, the system will automatically activate the "Auto-renewal speed" service for you. In this case, we would recommend putting a limit on the use mobile internet on your smartphone to avoid additional expenses.

If you prefer SMS-correspondence to instant messengers and social networks, 500 sms/month is available to you. what should be enough for communication.

Home TV

When you connect to the "All in one 3" tariff, you get 126 TV channels as a gift for free and in good quality. It includes TV channels of information, entertainment and educational nature. There is something for everyone in the family to see.

In order not to interfere with others watching their favorite TV shows, Beeline offers a multi-room service. That will allow you to connect up to 4 TVs and everyone can watch what he wants. The subscription fee is 0 rubles/month. But you will need an additional prefix that Beeline offers for rent for 230 rubles / month.

If there are not enough channels for you, then for additional fee you can connect channel packages divided into categories by interest.

Mobile TV

If you want to watch your favorite TV shows on the road or in a traffic jam, as many as 75 channels are available for you on your sick device. To do this, you will need to download the Beeline TV application for your Android or IOS device. And being in the coverage area of 3G/LTE, you can enjoy TV programs in HD quality.

Home Internet

Also, when you connect the "All in One 3" tariff, you get unlimited home Internet as a bonus on top speed up to 100 Mbps The cost of the subscription fee will be 0 rubles per month. To use the Internet on mobile devices via WI-FI you can purchase WI-FI router in installments, for 100 rubles / month.

Connection and cost

To connect to the All Inclusive 3 tariff, you need to buy a Beeline SIM card at any sales office. Or go with saving the number from another operator. If you are already a user of Beeline services, then you just need to go to your personal account and select this tariff. It should be noted that if you have not changed the tariff within a month, the cost of the transition will be 0 rubles. If you have already made the transition to another tariff within a month, then for you the cost of the transition will be 100 rubles.

The author of the article analyzes the political media space in which the convergence model is implemented technical devices(gadgets), professionalism on the basis of convergent content formation formats and prerequisites for interaction and interpenetration already at the level of media system components are created. Media convergence, according to the author, is the fusion of a person with modern communication technology and information technology. With the complication of the structure and, accordingly, the possibilities virtual networks the political space will also be more capacious and multidimensional. In the minds of recipients receiving converged content from the virtual space, there will be a feeling of the virtual field as a real one. Thus, the author believes, the political media space begins to exist not only in real, but also in virtual content. The author of the article proves that the global systemic restructuring of the information and communication sphere is accompanied by the virtualization of the political media space at different levels. This multidimensional process is sometimes perceived and interpreted by researchers ambiguously. The author considers some features of the process of virtualization of the political media space, which is experiencing extremely fast - in comparison with the delayed theoretical and methodological reflection - changes in the processes noted in the article.

Digital radio can become part of the intellectual convergence if humanity gives it a chance, says Ruxandra Obreia, chairman of Digital Radio Mondiale. Further, Mediasat publishes a translation of the author's direct speech, published on the Radioworld website.

I was recently invited to be the moderator of the "Convergence and Digital Radio" session at the "Asia Meets Europe" conference that took place in Romania. When I asked the audience if they had often attended such sessions in the past year, virtually everyone in the audience raised their hand to acknowledge their participation in such events.

But when I asked to describe the concept of “digital convergence” in two or three words, no one was willing. Moreover, such a phenomenon as digital convergence has existed for at least 40 years. Nicholas Negroponte, an MIT guru, defined it decades ago as a phenomenon expressed entirely in bits, or even in bits and bytes. Simply put, most of us understand that digital convergence involves the merging of several digital technologies into one.

At first glance, it might seem that digital, converged technology will allow the 2.4 billion people around the world to have direct access to the world's wealth of knowledge - mainly through the smartphone, that highly converged "black box". Others say that this concept covers much more: the process, new way understanding and involvement in world events.

Digital convergence is part of a recurring set of cliché phrases that also includes phrases such as digital revolution, virtual reality, augmented reality, hybrid reality, artificial intelligence and a number of others. It's kind of a cliché, but also part of the reality that Generation Z (people born after 1995) are using digital formats instead of traditional radio (at least in the United States).

The idea of digital convergence was somewhat shaken at the moment when the “dot-com bubble” burst in the late 90s. This made it clear to us that "old media" (such as TV and Radio) cannot be supplanted by the Internet or New Media. At the same time, however, it must also be recognized that older media will not be able to maintain the convenience of analog isolation.

Many people thought that radio would lose ground in favor of the Internet. However, this did not happen, moreover, this media medium was able to acquire an aura of great stability, which is still strong enough to this day, despite serious threats from digital services.

The paradox is that radio has always had some signs of convergence. Radio creates Virtual and Augmented Reality in the listener's imagination, it captures (you just get immersed in the sounding stories), it can be localized or even personalized. It also uses intelligence (real, not artificial) because it uses the greatest of all media ingredients: storytelling.

However, in a new, convergent world, a young (and not only) listener and consumer is used to being a part of history, being involved in it, and interacting with the story. And analog radio is unable to meet this new need.

The truth is that not everything that is heard on the radio should be reacted to by the listener, not everything should be shared, not everything should be voted for. It also means that there is a new connection between passive entertainment and active engagement that would not be possible without bits and bytes.

Digital convergence in 2017 is a fusion of new and old media with digital radio as part of a mix. Radio is no longer solely an audio project, it can create long texts, use Internet materials, supplement audio with pictures and even transfer to live short videos (in the DRM standard this is called Diveemo), satisfying our deep desires and pique our curiosity.

What about one digital device, which would represent all this diverse digital content? It has already been proven that the idea of creating a unique magical "black box" is fundamentally wrong. Digital radio can be received with digital TV but it will be expensive. Digital television is not able to completely replace the radio, but it can include it in the package from digital channels. Besides, can you imagine how you carry your huge plasma tv in the shower to listen to the morning show?

We can receive emails on the phone, but we still use a laptop or PC with full access to the Internet and email.

Today, a digital receiver included in a mobile phone and able to receive digital radio programs remains only a dream. At the same time, digital radio transmitted via mobile networks, is just a waste of money and digital data. The cost of mobile streaming seems astronomical compared to the average cost of broadcasting digital radio programming.

For example, a radio transmitter operating in the DRM digital standard can cover a territory within a radius of thousands of kilometers with a signal. How many cell phones necessary to achieve the same goal? Apparently, no smartphone, no 4G or IP will be able to completely replace the broadcasts received on car radios, radios and, one day, possibly on Cell phones with built-in digital receivers. Each way is just one of many ways in which interesting digital content reaches the user.

Convergence and aggregation at the content level should be doubled by different and appropriate distribution channels. There is no black box, cable or wave that is cheap enough, convergent enough and ready to meet all the ambitious demands of broadcasters or users. The sooner broadcasters start implementing convergence where it works, rather than doing it at any cost, the better.

At the end of the session in September, we agreed that convergence is a fusion of the old and the new, carried out in combination with intelligence and a new creative approach. However, we should hurry, because, as Negroponte said, “biotechnology will become the new direction of the digital environment”, and soon we will be able to “swallow” information. And personally, I am not yet ready to “swallow” my radio receiver.

Not so long ago, Beeline (my main operator) announced a new attraction of unheard of generosity - "free" wired Internet. I liked the special group of all-in-one tariffs - the fact is that my entire connection is tied to Beeline. And if earlier I paid for the Internet, now I can save money. And 400 rubles a month is already 4600 rubles a year. Why not try?

I chose the tariff based on my needs in the mobile Internet. I’m not interested in the speed of wired Internet - more than 20-30 Mbps is needed only if you keep your own web server, but you can’t do without mobile Internet, especially since I have 4 additional devices connected to one balance (2 parent mobile phones and 2 tablets, By the way, I used to spend about 1000 rubles / month on this too). However, I don't watch TV.

I didn’t fit into the most “compact” tariff, so I chose the “All in One for 801” option for myself, which still turned out to be cheaper than my previous “All in One for 900”, which included the same 7 GB of Internet -traffic, but without home Internet.

Having chosen the tariff, I left it on the operator's website. Literally a few hours later they called me back, asked questions about the same things that I wrote in the application, were taken aback by the fact that the paid part of the previous tariff would be lost (I paid just a couple of days ago, I was offended, but, as it turned out, the consultant I got it mixed up), and they also said that you need to sign an additional agreement to transfer to this tariff, so nothing will work without a visit to the office. Well, I was waiting for this - after all, wired and wireless Internet are clearly located in different legal entities, and in order to receive data and continue to provide services, my consent is needed.

I went to the nearest Beeline communication salon, where I was met by friendly employees in new T-shirts with raccoons (unfortunately, the employees refused to be photographed). Of course, when they heard about the converged tariff, something like “god, why me, for what?” began to be read on their faces. But there was nowhere to go, and the bearded and stern consultant Yegor took up my translation.

For about 20 minutes, he stared gloomily at the screen, occasionally pressing the buttons. At the same time, in a small branch on Prospekt Mira in Moscow there was one computer, so people who came to pay for the Internet could not do this. To be honest, I couldn’t imagine before that SO MANY people, including young people, pay for services mobile operator at the register. Over the past time, they have gathered about a dozen!

In the meantime, changes began to occur with the phone. First, SMS about changing the tariff, then the balance went into a minus for the cost of the subscriber. Of course, my calls were blocked, and I asked Yegor, a stern consultant, what should I do. He just looked at me and called a girl who assured me that in a couple of hours everything would be tip-top, the money would be counted and returned. Also, the girl gave me an additional agreement that crawled out of the printer, which contained mainly the legal nuances of transferring subscriber data. I signed an additional agreement, and since I didn’t want to stay two hours without communication in the real world, I threw in more money for the cost of the subscriber.

After a couple of hours, when no visible changes occurred with the balance, I got into my personal account. The picture that appeared to me there was sad - in the mobile there was a TP "All for 800" (and not for 800+, which included wired Internet), my old TP "All in the house for 450" was still hanging in the wired one. As it turned out later, it was this tariff, which already implied a bundle of home Internet and mobile communications, and broke all plans - the consultant in the salon saw that my personal accounts were merged, and either did not begin to merge again, or did everything as -that's not right.

Then I did what every non-phone geek does - I wrote about what happened on Facebook. I must say, Beeline's social media support is excellent - literally the next day after the mention, a consultant knocked on my door, asked for a number, and assured me that everything would be fine.

After a couple of days, things weren't going well, so I started calling. With every call, I felt panic immediately after the words "converged tariff". "Oh, I'll switch you now!" - telephone consultants said, and turned on the music for me.

Offtopic: someday I will collect all the music that hangs on the holds and plays in the background at airports, burn it to disk, and call this collection "personal hell". There will be a Sber melody, and "Let My People Go" from the alpha bank, and annoying drums from the Delhi airport.

The convergence service seems to have been popular, with a wait of at least 10 minutes each time. In the end, after retelling my story five times, I was assured that everything would be fine, since the shift supervisor himself was dealing with me, they promised to call me back again, and hung up. And I began to wait again.

How is it in the proverb? To promise - does not mean to marry? That is what happened this time as well. At the end of the second week of my smooth transition to convergence, I wrote another post on Facebook. This time, my fellow journalists began to mention everyone, including Slobodin (CEO of Beeline). Apparently, this had a magical effect. In the end, another Beeline consultant came to the comments and promised me that everything would be fine. And, you won’t believe it, just a couple of days later, when I had already completely lost hope, money for the last reporting period fell into my account, and tariff plan magically switched to "All for 801".

In total, the transition to a converged tariff took me about two weeks. I went through a difficult path - from an application on the site, through Acheron signing an additional agreement (where the bearded consultant Egor became my Charon), through the turbulent waters of calls (in total - about 1.5 hours). Was it worth 4600 rubles of savings per year? Maybe not, but it gave me the opportunity to write this blog post.

Now everything is working almost well, and in personal account even the leftovers are displayed. True, I can’t switch the tariff online now (that’s right, why do I need this?), And see the spent traffic by wired internet too (I'll stomp). The main thing is that the roaming options work correctly, otherwise I will go broke with this convergent tariff on trips.

In general, if you switch to a converged tariff - get ready for difficulties. And yet, I can assure you, they are surmountable.
