We carefully read the Readme, if it is not there, then here is what is written there:

NOTES:
-Modern Epson Adjustment Programs have several protection options, including:
- restriction on the date of use. As a rule, programs are operational within a month from the date of creation of the .EXE - program file. To remove this restriction, the system date must be set to this interval. (It is enough to set the date of creation of the .EXE program file as the system one). If the program is launched outside the set usage interval, the program will display a message:
ERROR!!! THE PROGRAMM CAN NOT BE USED!
And it won't start.
-At the same time, in the C:\Adjustment Program\ folder, the program will create a folder under "its" name (printer or MFP model) in which it will save "information" about the unsuccessful launch. A second attempt to run the program even with the "correct" system date will be unsuccessful, as long as the "traces of failure" are stored in the C:\Adjustment Program\ folder. To remove this restriction, just delete the C:\Adjustment Program\ folder.
- some programs, when they fail to start, also create an entry in the system registry: the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EPSON\PTSG\ key, which must be deleted to remove the restriction.
- some programs delete themselves from the "launch folder" if they fail to start. That is why the program archive should be kept. There is one exception: if you run the program from the C:\Adjustment Program\ folder, it will not be able to self-destruct.

This is what the auto.bat file does:
-sets the desired system date
- removes existing C:\Adjustment Program\ and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EPSON\PTSG\ (if they are missing, a corresponding message is displayed)
- starts the program
-after closing the program, it returns the system date and deletes the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EPSON\PTSG\ and C:\Adjustment Program\ created by the program.
!!! If for some reason the auto.bat file "does not work", all of the above steps must be done "manually".

NOTE:
To "adjust" the auto.bat file for a specific version of the program, it is enough to
(Content of auto.bat file:

@echo off
echo %date% > currdate.txt
date 23-01-07
rd C:\adjust~1 /s/q
REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EPSON\PTSG\ /f
start/wait AdjProg.exe
date< currdate.txt
delcurrdate.txt
rd C:\adjust~1 /s/q
REG DELETE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EPSON\PTSG\ /f)

In the third line, change the date to the date of the EXE file of a specific program, and in the sixth line, change the name of the EXE file to the name of the EXE file of a specific program.
Place the bat file in the program folder and run it...

After a certain amount of ink used during printing and cleaning, the printer will display a message through the status monitor that "Some parts inside the printer have reached the end of their life and you need to contact service center" . The printer is blocked and printing is no longer possible. The printer has 2 red lights blinking alternately - ink and paper.

In this case, you can really contact the SC, or you can reset the software blocking of the printer yourself using the SSCLG universal service utility (a lot has been written about this in our forum) or using a proprietary service program.

Here we will describe in detail the procedure in Russian - what to press and what not to press.

1. You need to download the program (for example, from here).
2. Save on your computer and unpack the archive.

3. Change date on your computer on April 10, 2008. To do this, double-click on the clock in the lower right corner of the screen and change the date in the window that opens. Click APPLY and OK.

4. Run AdjProg.exe file - double click on it. A window should appear in which you need to click ACCEPT.

5. After that, a new window will appear in which you need to select Particular adjustment mode.

6. In the new window that appears, select Waste ink pad counter(waste ink counter).

7. A new window will appear again. Click CHECK to check counter values.

8. To reset the values, check 2 checkboxes and press INITIALIZATION.

9. A message will appear. Click OK.

10. The reset process takes a few seconds and looks like this.

11. To complete the reset procedure, you will need to turn off the printer in order for these values to be saved. After the printer is turned off, a message appears stating that counter successfully reset.

Turn on the printer and check the counters.
The reset procedure in the utility programs for other printer models is similar to that described above.

"During the active use of an inkjet printer, there comes a moment when the printer refuses to work and gives an error message, requiring you to contact a service center. Depending on the printer model, this error is alerted in different ways, but the most standard way an error message is the alternate blinking of two red LEDs under the printer buttons, and an error window pops up on the computer monitor.

Moreover, a warning about the imminent end of the life of the absorbent pad (diaper) also pops up in the form of a system message on the computer monitor.

After the warning message appears, you have the opportunity to print another 15-20 images (photos) of A4 format, after which the printer will refuse to print until the waste ink counter is reset.

All inkjet printers use a special container to collect waste ink (Waste Ink), which is often called a “diaper” quite often. This "diaper" is a container in which there is an absorbent material that absorbs waste ink well.

Where does waste ink come from in an inkjet printer? Each time it is turned on, the print head is automatically cleaned - a small amount of ink is pumped from the cartridges into the print head, which at that moment is in the extreme right (left) position of the printer, and the ink is "dumped" into the "diaper". Also, when regular cleanings are started through the printer driver, ink is pumped from the cartridges through the print head into the absorber.

Since the volume of the ink collection tank with the absorber in it has a certain limitation, sooner or later, there comes a moment when the tanks overflow and the ink begins to leak out, which causes pollution of both the printer itself and everything that surrounds it. .

To avoid such an extremely unpleasant situation, absolutely all inkjet printers are equipped with a system for monitoring the amount of waste ink. In reality, this system is nothing more than a software counter that counts the number of times the printer has been turned on and all head cleaning procedures performed. Since the volume of ink pumped out of the head during cleaning procedures is approximately known, and the capacity of the sump is also known, it is not difficult to calculate when it is full.

When the value of the counter of the amount of waste ink, supposedly drained into the sump, reaches the value preset in the printer's control program, the printer first issues a warning about the imminent end of the life of the absorbent pad, and soon completely blocks the ability to send a print job.

When the "diaper" of the inkjet printer is overfilled, the service specialist must take the following actions:

  • replace absorbers - "diapers"
  • reset (reset) the Waste Ink Counter).

You can reset the "diaper" waste ink counter using the special PrintHelp service program from the SuperPrint development team (Resetters). PrintHelp- universal service program for Epson printers Canon.

The program can perform the following functions for Epson printers (not for all models):

- checking the current value of the waste ink counter
- reset the waste ink counter (some models require a RESET CODE)
- cleaning the print head
- enhanced cleaning of the print head during initial refueling
- reading and writing serial number printer
- reading and USB recording ID
- read and write HEAD ID
- creating an EEPROM backup dump
- paper feed test
- nozzle check and test
- printout of color fills
- initialize (disable) PF deterioration offset
- getting the status of the printer
- read ink level
- reset Ink Level and reset Pampers in printers L100, L200, L800 free
