Automatic start Office programs that you use every day by adding a shortcut to your Windows Startup folder.

Windows 10 or 8

    Open the dialog box Starting Windows (Windows key+ R).

    Copy the following path in the Run dialog box and press the key Input.

    %appdata%\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup

    open home screen, click right click mouse over the Office application you want to start automatically and select Command open file location. This may be caused by the submenu " Additionally ".

    Advice: If the program is not listed, right-click the Start screen and select All applications.

    Copy (Ctrl + C) the program's shortcut, and then paste it into the "Startup" folder that was opened in step 2.

    The application will automatically launch the next time you start your computer. If you need to remove the program from startup, remove the shortcut from the Startup folder (steps 1 and 2).

Start Outlook in this folder: press the button Review to select the folder that you want to open when you start Outlook.

Empty the Deleted Items folder when exiting Outlook: Select this option to automatically empty the Deleted Items folder when you exit Outlook.

Attention: When you empty the Deleted Items folder, all items it contains are permanently deleted.

AutoArchive

Reminders

Display Reminders: select or clear this check box to enable or disable meeting and appointment reminders in Outlook.

Play a reminder sound Check or uncheck this box to turn the reminder sound on or off. Click the button Review to replace the sound reminder (reminder.wav) with a custom sound file on your computer.

Export

Export Outlook data to a file for use in other programs : click Export to open the Import and Export Wizard to transfer messages, calendar, tasks, and contacts to Outlook on another computer, or create backup Outlook data file (.pst file). For more information about exporting Outlook items, see the article Export Outlook Items to an Outlook Data File (.pst file).

RSS feeds.

Show updated RSS feed items as new : Select this option to mark items from RSS feeds as new when they are updated.

Synchronize RSS Feeds with Common Feed List (CFL) on Windows : Select this option to use the same list of RSS feed subscriptions across Internet Explorer and Outlook. For more information, see the article Viewing the same list of RSS feeds in Windows Internet Explorer and Outlook.

Sending and receiving

Set the settings for sending and receiving incoming and outgoing items: click Sending and receiving to create, modify, or delete send/receive groups. For more information, see the article Why use send and receive groups?.

Send immediately when connected: Select this option to have Outlook send messages created while you're offline as soon as you connect to the network.

Show add-on user interface errors By default, if Add in tries to control the Outlook user interface and it fails, Outlook does not display an error message. You can select this option to display messages related to user interface Outlook add-in errors.

Remote connections

Use this section to set options remote access. You can choose whether you want to be alerted before switching an existing connection and configure settings for background and manual send and receive actions.

Other

Set click options select a category Click the button to set the default category for the assignment if you click the category column Quick call.

Ask for confirmation before deleting items permanently: select this option to be prompted before permanently deleting Outlook items.

Allow analysis of sent messages Email to identify the users with whom you frequently message and most frequently discuss and send this information to SharePoint Server by default Check or uncheck this option to control whether your actions in Outlook are parsed for suggestions keywords and colleagues (the function will help you faster communication people and information in your organization).

Enable troubleshooting logging (requires restarting Outlook): select this option to enable logging for certain Outlook features that support staff may need to troubleshoot. For more information, see the article Purpose of "Enable logging (for troubleshooting)".

Transfer group schedules from previous version Microsoft Outlook: click Folder selection to select the folder to use when migrating group schedules from another version of Outlook.

Use animation when expanding conversations and groups: By default, when you expand a conversation or group, Outlook displays a short animation. Clear this check box to disable the animation effect.
