How to make a plexiglass tablet stand. Do-it-yourself tablet stand Do-it-yourself tablet stand made of wood

It is not a big task to acquire a stand for a tablet computer, but, nevertheless, I still used a ceramic mug as this. Somehow this necessity escaped consciousness. Habitually leaned the “tablet” on its side and while it was full everything was OK, but the empty one sometimes slid along the surface of the table and then the tablet flopped loudly on the table top. He expressed himself in hearts and habitually hoisted him back.

I don’t know if I was tired of lifting it, listening to the sound of slaps, or I realized the worthlessness of the situation, but mentally rummaging through my possessions, in reality I found the piece of plumbing pipe remaining from the repair. From it, and decided to make something suitable. The first attempt to evenly cut off a few centimeters with a hacksaw for metal was not successful, then I put the pipe on the table with its even edge and made marks with the help of a square. By connecting them, I got a straight circular line.

On it and made an even cut. Using this technique again, I got such a ring with a diameter of 110 mm and a width of 30 mm. And its ends became completely even and smooth, as can be seen in the photo, after it had been processed on a sheet of large emery cloth laid on the table. Further, on the ring at a distance of 80 mm from each other, he made cuts 13 mm wide (under the thickness tablet computer) to a depth of 20 mm with a slope (approximately 45 degrees).

Tried it on and was satisfied. I guessed with the angle of inclination (however, this is individual), it stands correctly. It stands confidently, no hint of tipping even with a somewhat careless movement in a horizontal plane. There is a possibility for touch manipulations.

Now you can see the latest posts on ours. But here a flaw emerged. With the tablet placed horizontally, access to the touch control icons was difficult, and quite a lot.

Stand sketch

On the stand, it was required to make a cutout, best rounded. Sawing it “by hand” has very little chance that everything will be smooth. So I made this sketch on the computer. It is for workpieces with a diameter of 90 - 120 mm and a width of at least 30 mm. The thickness must be sufficient to ensure the strength of the entire structure.

I cut out the printed image, pasted it on the stand with PVA glue, and when it dried up, made the maximum possible cut with a hacksaw, then called on powerful side cutters to help, and finally, cleanly processed it with a round file with a diameter of 15 mm.

Finished stand. Now everything is comfortable and even seems pretty. And it’s also great to do what you need with your own hands. The thing will serve for a long time and always cause positive emotions. Is there anything more significant in life than a good attitude towards oneself?! Author - Babay from Barnaula.

Do-it-yourself tablet stand.
Tablets have firmly entered our lives, we use them everywhere. And I suggest you make your own tablet stand. Such a tablet stand will look especially good in the kitchen, but in principle, in the absence of another, you can use it in any other room

Materials.
1. Wooden cutting board (it can be used, say, it cracked a little).
2. A piece of wooden plinth (not everyone will fit, one edge must be bent).
3. White paint, brush.
4. PVA glue.
5. Clamp (desirable, but not necessary).
6. A piece of wooden board.
7. Pencil.
8. Ruler.
9. Sandpaper.

The stand will be made from three pieces of wood cutting board, a piece of plinth to be used as a holder, and a triangular block.

We use the bar as a support for our holder.

If a used wooden board will be used for manufacturing, then, of course, it must be well cleaned with sandpaper.

The plinth must be sawn to size, the width of the cutting board, the edges should be processed with sandpaper so that there are no burrs.

A triangular bar, if one is not at hand, can be made from a piece of thick wooden board. Drawn in pencil and cut out. I draw your attention to the fact that the triangle has an angle of 90 degrees, and from the inclination of the hypotenuse will, in the future, hang the angle of inclination of the stand.

Now the parts of the stand need to be connected together with PVA glue. It is advisable to press the parts to each other with clamps until the glue has completely dried.

After gluing. General cleaning with sandpaper and painting. After the paint has dried, you can use it.

That's all it turned out to be an excellent tablet stand, an inexpensive thing to manufacture, which you can easily make with your own hands.

A tablet stand is a handy thing if you want to watch a movie, read a book on a tablet, and also for those who type texts, use a tablet to show photos of a group of friends.

Such a thing is not worth buying, since it is extremely easy to make it with your own hands from cardboard, wood, and, in general, from any improvised items. Here are some great ideas, most of which any beginner can handle.

In fact, a tablet stand can be made from almost anything, including what we usually throw away, so by making such a stand with your own hands you can be justifiably proud of yourself - you support the environmental movement;)

1. The easiest way to make a DIY tablet stand is to cut it out of cardboard.

Or not just from a piece of cardboard, but in a cafe, from a paper cup.

You can use part of the packaging of the iPad itself. Or maybe the packaging designers secretly hoped that people would figure out how to use the packaging in such a way and would not spend money on extra accessories?)

2. Wire tablet stand.

From a wire, the cheapest hanger, a tablet stand is very quickly obtained, and it can be rolled up in more than one way ...

Or you can take a piece of hard wire and a couple of rubber bands for money. And it will also turn out easy and convenient stand for tablet.

3. Stand for a tablet from improvised items.

If you are in the office and you urgently need a stand for a tablet, for example, for a presentation, then use rubber bands for money and pencils (it is more convenient to take those with erasers).

Exactly the same design will be obtained from Chinese chopsticks.

The tablet stand will turn out to be very beautiful if it is cut out of natural wood and varnished. But this version of the stand is for those who have skillful hands and a lot of time.

And here is a tablet stand that can be made in 10-15 seconds. Made from Lego pieces.

Another office setting. As a stand for a tablet, a stand for business cards from a regular stationery set works great.

If the business card stand is metal, you can bend it additionally or screw in a couple of self-tapping screws so that the tablet does not fall. Probably it is better to wrap the self-tapping screws with something soft (again, with an elastic band for money).

A tablet stand is a very convenient thing with which you can put your gadget in any position convenient for you. It is especially necessary when watching movies or when reading. e-books. In stores on this moment there are many options for these coasters, but this primitive thing can be done with your own hands.

And how to make a stand for a tablet, our today's article will tell.

Pattern

First you need to find or select a pattern pattern for this element. Moreover, it is not necessary to contact specialists - you can independently find it on the Internet, then download and print it on a printer.

Carefully cut out the printed pattern with clerical scissors. After that, select the desired fabric for sewing and fold it in half (the right side folds inward). Next, attach a pattern to it and with a pencil (you can also use chalk or a dry bar of soap), circle the pattern.

cutting

Before you start cutting, you need to sew 2 parts of the fabric or fasten them with pins.

This is done so that the fabric is even and neat. Now you can safely cut out the drawing you applied along the outlined contours. As a result, you will get several parts - one long rectangle and two chisel-shaped pieces.

How to make a stand for a tablet with your own hands? Mounting installation

According to the scheme, a mount is cut out of the acquired piece of leather. It should be sewn to a rectangular piece of fabric with a needle and thread.

We sew a cover

Using the pattern as a guide, attach the side pieces of the pillow to the center piece. Next, sew all the seams of the cover on the sewing machine. When all the details are sewn, you will get the main shape of the stand. At the same time, the pillow-stand for the tablet (namely, its back part) should not be sewn. The hole that has formed there is filled with foam.

We insert the foam rubber

Using a sharp knife and a ruler, cut 1 piece of foam rubber measuring 320x230x40 millimeters. Next, form the shape of the stand. The second piece of foam rubber should have dimensions of 16x140x320 millimeters (base * height * length, respectively). In the same way, using a blade, make a triangle from a piece.

Now carefully tuck the foam into part of the cover and fold the 2 sections of the stand together. If a part of the foam does not fit, you need to take it out and trim it a little.

All - on this stage do-it-yourself tablet stand successfully made. Now you will not constantly hold a heavy tablet in your hands and enjoy convenient reading of e-books, watching movies or photos.

What is the effect of tablet foam?

Probably, each of us is now thinking “won’t the computer burn out in the arms of such material?”. In fact, the foam pad does not cause any harm to the tablet. On the contrary, due to its porosity, this material does not retain heat, which means that your gadget will always be cooled.

How to make a tablet stand in the car?

If you are often on business trips or just like to travel by private car, such a thing will definitely not be superfluous for you (especially since most modern gadgets can act as a GPS navigator). So, how do you make a do-it-yourself car stand for a tablet?

First you need to find some stainless steel strips. As an alternative, it is unacceptable to use plastic or cardboard (why - we will tell a little later). Next, the prepared parts need to be cut. For a passenger car, it is enough to prepare strips: 2 vertical strips 170 mm long and 10 mm wide each, as well as one horizontal strip measuring 250x20 mm (length * width, respectively). The edges of the strips are bent with pliers in a position in which it is convenient for you to use the tablet.

The top of the stainless steel strips fold a little more as it will be installed in the car's wind deflector. By the way, this is not the only place where you can fix this part. The bottom strip serves to hold the tablet itself. The horizontal one plays the role of keeping the gadget from falling sideways. Thus, the device will be securely fixed and will not fall out of the stand. At this stage, a do-it-yourself car stand for a tablet has been successfully made. And it is fixed on thin round magnets, which can be bought at any stationery store. That is why the strips should be metal, not plastic. The back side of the magnets is attached to the deflector (using Moment glue), and our stand will be attached to the front part. As you can see, the design is very primitive, but quite reliable.

Additional "upgrade" stand

For ease of viewing, you can make additional inserts. They greatly expand the angle of the tablet, which is very convenient for viewing various data and information. Also, the stand can be sheathed in fabric or leather (depending on the preferences of the owner).

Benefits of DIY car stand for tablet:

So, we found out how to make a do-it-yourself tablet stand and how to make a car holder from metal strips.

Once I watched a movie on an iPad, and suddenly I got tired of putting anything under the tablet. There are coasters. But to the stand in the store - kilometers and money, but you need it right now and for free.

There are sheets of cardboard and glue.
Task: quickly, simply and cheaply make a tablet stand.

What is required from the stand: stability, ease of installation and removal of the tablet, the ability to install at different angles so as not to break.

Angles. At a minimum, you need a slightly tilted position for individual use, and a near-vertical position to be seen by multiple viewers.

What are the coasters?

I did not meet a suitable prototype for making with my own hands. Not suitable: complexity, dependence on material and technology, low reliability of moving parts.

There should be no moving parts, but there should be different installation angles. The stand must be simple material(cardboard, in this case), but reliable and stable.

Solution.
One-piece construction with three fixed corners. triangular section.

Distribute the angles of the triangle for the three installation options.

The sum of the angles of a triangle is 180 degrees, the sum of the angles of deviation of the front face from the vertical is 90 degrees. The tablet can be placed at angles of 15, 30 and 45 degrees from the vertical, turning the stand to the desired side.

Add clips for the tablet to the scheme.

Determine the dimensions of the section of the structure.

Minimal: When on the shortest edge, the tablet must be stable (center of gravity below the top of the short edge).

Maximum: The longest edge must not be longer than the short side of the tablet.

Determine the width of the stand.
The criterion is simple: to be normal. Slightly less than the width of the tablet.

Make a layout and try it out.

Process.
Sheets of corrugated cardboard are glued together with PVA glue.

The ends on the sample are pasted over with a sketch so that the cardboard does not wipe the body of the device.

Total:

For the top it is convenient to take and carry along with the tablet:

Three tilt angles:

The sample works safely for a month.
