I didn’t select them, but only selected the folders, then right-clicked on them again, selected the Unlocker item, and again there was zero effect, well, fun, I thought! Then I started to do what I advise you now, which is to delete files and folders one by one. I clicked on the first folder, selected the Unlocker item, security popped up, clicked Yes there, then such a window appeared, here you need to select Delete from the menu on the left and press the OK button:

The process of removing any antivirus (not just Avast) from the operating Windows systems has some specificity. Of course, you can uninstall this or that anti-virus product using the standard tools of the operating system, but in some cases this method of removal is not entirely suitable, since it does not completely remove the antivirus and the “tails” of the program remain in the system.
As a rule, the traditional method of removal using the operating system or using programs specially designed for this is more than enough. Therefore, we will briefly consider it here.
In order to remove the antivirus, consider the example of avast! Free Antivirus, using the regular features of Windows, you must follow the instructions below.
Go to "Panel" Windows controls", where we are interested in the "Programs and Features" section. Depending on the version and edition of your operating system Microsoft Windows There are several ways to get to this section.
For Windows 7 and Vista users. Go to the "Start" menu, then select "Control Panel".
In the control panel, click "Uninstall a program", as in the screenshot. 
For Windows 8 and 8.1 users, to access this menu, simply move the mouse pointer to the lower left corner and right-click, select "Programs and Features" in the context menu that opens. 
In the list, select avast! Free Antivirus and click "Uninstall\Change".
This window will appear.

Then you will need to reinstall Avast antivirus or roll back to old version. In this case, it will also be necessary to carefully remove the antivirus from the system.
To completely remove Avast antivirus, you need to use the proprietary utility from the developer, which you can download from the Avast official website (or just click here).
Before running this utility (avastclear.exe), you need to reboot your operating system and switch to "safe mode" (Safe Mode). For Windows startup XP, Vista, Windows 7 safe mode you need to restart the PC, then (before the operating system starts) we often press the key - F8, and we get to the "Additional boot options" menu, where we select boot in safe mode. How to enter safe mode Windows users 8 and 8.1 is possible.
However, if you try to run the avast removal tool (avastclear.exe) immediately after downloading, you will see this message, just click "Yes", after which the system will automatically restart in safe mode.
After the reboot, the avast removal utility will start automatically, but if this does not happen, then run it yourself. The same window as in the screenshot will appear. Here it is necessary to indicate software, which needs to be deleted, so in the drop-down menu (marked with a red arrow in the screenshot), select: avast! Free/Pro/ internet security/Premier.
The second arrow marks the folder (by default) where you have Avast antivirus installed. If nothing was changed during the installation of the antivirus, then we leave it as it is, otherwise we must indicate our path to the folder with the program. Click "Delete".
It remains to restart the computer, after which all Avast antivirus components will be permanently removed from hard drive computer.

Cleaning up the system
Removing the program is not entirely clean. The uninstaller leaves a significant amount of “tails” on the laptop that need to be removed manually.
- Open the "Explorer" and expand the top command menu. Go to the "View" tab. We put a tick in the box marked with the number "3". We should see the "ProgramData" folder.
- We open it and see the directory that the uninstall utility of the antivirus forgot to remove. Its size is small, but information about the date of installation and the type of license is stored inside. We delete it using the icon on the command bar or the context menu.
- Confirm your decision by clicking the "Continue" button. The system will issue a similar request when emptying the basket.
- Let's open the registry editor to clean up the remnants there too. To do this, in the text field of the "Run" window, enter the launch command "regedit".
