The smartphone is very pleasant in the hand. This is facilitated by a metal case. A pleasant coolness is felt, which plastic, ceramics or glass do not give. There are a few different sensations here, which I personally like more. And metal dissipates heat well.
By the way, the BQ Jumbo does not get very hot. It becomes warm, but no more, it is comfortable to work with it. What about when recording a video, what when actively downloading something from the network, what when starting and playing, for example, in Asphalt 8.
However, as far as games are concerned, a smartphone priced up to 10,000 rubles can hardly be called a gaming one. This is a work mate. Asphalt 8 noticeably slows down on it, fresh Asphalt 9 is simply not available for installation. But the same PUBG Mobile is in the Google app store, if you suddenly want to.
The device looks quite large, even unusually long. In fact, it cannot be controlled with one hand. When you need to select something at the top of the screen, you have to connect the second hand.
Despite the not too high resolution by today's standards, the picture looks nice, and the fonts seem quite clear.
It looks like it will be hard, but it really isn't. Weighs only 174 grams - nothing extreme.
I liked that the smartphone clearly and quickly triggers a fingerprint scanner. On some models of Chinese vendors, it is less responsive.

The system as a whole works without annoying lags (and animations sometimes slow down in applications), there is enough RAM to keep the last few running applications without unloading. But the standard launcher at the same time, sometimes, is loaded again when you return to the home screen. However, we talk about this when we see expensive models and involuntarily compare them with them. A person choosing a device for 10 thousand rubles is unlikely to find fault with these moments.
Separately pleases the battery. 3900 mAh, when 3000-3500 mAh are put on competitors - this is nice. Moreover, the BQ Jumbo has a large screen, with a smaller capacity, the lifetime would upset us. It does its job well in ideal lighting conditions, but fails at dusk, in difficult artificial light or in the twilight of parties. The quality of the photos turns out to be quite good for publishing on a social network after processing in good editors like VSCO, but you should not expect miracles. The front camera turned out to be much more interesting. The manufacturer decided to bet on the demand for selfies and offered a full range of popular technologies. Firstly, it uses a dual module of 20 and 8 megapixel cameras with a choice between regular and wide viewing angles of 120 degrees. Secondly, there are software algorithms for improving portraits. Despite its compactness, the smartphone is quite "chubby", which is rather strange, given the small capacity of the battery. Note that when working with the device, this does not interfere in any way, moreover, due to its compactness, it is convenient to operate it with one hand. It also feels nice and firm in the hand.
Display and picture
BQ Strike Mini received a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and multi-touch support (yes, this can be called an advantage here). Viewing angles are limited, and the margin of brightness is low, which makes it extremely inconvenient to work with it in bright sunlight.
Nevertheless, the minimum brightness level allows you to comfortably work with the device in complete darkness, because the screen does not blind your eyes. With such a diagonal, the detail is quite good, but if you look closely, the pixels are still visible.
Although the image can hardly be called ideal, for a smartphone for 3000 rubles it is quite pleasant. The colors are normal, there is no deep black, and the TN-matrix provides a fairly fast sensor response.
Performance and stuffing
The novelty is based on the Spreadtrum SC7731C platform with 4 Cortex-A7 cores and a clock speed of up to 1.2 GHz. The graphics chipset is the Mali-400 MP1. The smartphone received 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, thanks to which it copes with its basic duties - calls and SMS.
The power of the device should be enough to work with applications, browser, instant messengers, calls and even some games, but this is unlikely to be a comfortable experience.
Recall that the novelty only supports 3G networks. At the same time, the device is equipped with slots for two SIM-cards, but there is only one radio module.

The main camera of the device received a 5 megapixel module with several additional shooting modes and manual settings. There is also an LED flash, with which you can take photos at night.
For a smartphone for 3000 rubles, such camera characteristics are quite good, but it is obvious that you should not expect high-quality photos. In good daylight, quite clear photos with good color reproduction are obtained. If you use artificial light, noise may appear in the photo. It is impossible to take a good quality photo at night - strong noises and pixelation are striking.
The front camera is equipped with a 2 megapixel module and takes faint blurry pictures in the watercolor style.
