Firmware samsung galaxy s7562. Firmware Samsung GT-S7562 Galaxy S DUOS - the process of flashing CWM-Recovery and obtaining root rights

Finally, it came to me. I have long wanted to try the rooting method, which allows you to simply get ROOT rights and not install custom firmware. Well, I don’t like messing around with them, then something doesn’t work there, then some “jambs” appear. Another plus of this method is that the custom firmware counter does not change.

The firmware of the device is no different from other android smartphones and should not cause you any difficulties. This model is fundamentally no different from other typical models of this company, except for the support of two SIM cards. This, for someone, is an indisputable plus, but for someone it doesn’t matter.

The biggest minus this phone it is that it has a very weak processor and it is very noticeable. Often hangs, especially in applications that require resource-intensive calculations.

I was asked for this model with LaFleur content, put the usual - stock firmware. By the way, some custom firmware versions help to increase the amount of RAM.

There was a case when I installed such a firmware so that the phone would work faster, but to be honest, I did not feel a noticeable difference. Because of this, I will not install modified software in this post. This "miracle" works on Android version 4.0.4. and "sewn" alone. Let's get started already.

ATTENTION!!! Before starting the update software, rooting, resetting settings and other manipulations with your own or God forbid someone else's device HIGHLY RECOMMEND read this one. In short, you have been warned and do not say later that you are hearing this for the first time.

We have put together a detailed step-by-step instructions guide on how to install CM11 Android 4.4.2 KitKat custom firmware on Galaxy S Duos S7562. If you are used to installing custom ROMs on your Galaxy S Duos S7562, then this should not be any different for you.

However, for beginners, you need to root your Samsung Galaxy S Duos and install a custom recovery. Please Google that up if you are unsure and make sure you read the tutorial once before actually performing it on your device.

To Remember:

  • This tutorial is only for installing CM11 Android 4.4.2 ROM on Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562. Please do not try on any other Galaxy S Duos variants.
  • Your phone should be rooted and have ClockworkMod recovery installed from before.
  • This tutorial will wipe out all your data. Proceed at your own risk.
  • Perform a Dalvik Cache wipe before proceeding from the recovery mode.
  • Samsung KIES will NOT detect your phone after installing this ROM because it is a custom firmware.
  • Make sure you backup all your data in your phone before proceeding.

Complete Step By Step Instructions:

NOTE: Screenshots of the ClockworkMod Recovery may change as new versions are released.

Step 6- Once you are in ClockworkMod Recovery, select perform a full data wipe by selecting “wipe data/factory reset” as shown below. Use the Power button to select everything while in the Recovery Mode.

Step 7- Then, perform a cache wipe by selecting “wipe cache partition” as you can see in the image below.

Step 8- Now this is optional, but it is recommended to perform a wipe of your dalvik cache as well. You will not get into boot loops or any other errors. From CWM recovery, go to ‘advanced’ and then select “wipe dalvik cache”.

Step 9- Then go back to the main recovery screen and select "install zip from SD card".

Step 10- Now select "choose zip from sdcard". Using your volume keys, navigate to the Android 4.4.2 ROM zip file that you copied to your SD card and select it using the Power button. Confirm the installation on the next screen and the installation procedure should start now.

Google Apps: Repeat the above step for the Gapps zip file as well and install it on your phone.

Step 11- After the installation completes, go to “+++++Go Back+++++” and reboot the phone by selecting “ reboot system now” from the recovery menu as show below.

Your Galaxy S Duos S7562 will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait.

Hello everyone, for a long time there was no article on the topic of Android. The other day they brought me Samsung smartphone GT-S7562 Galaxy S DUOS with a request to flash this model. I don’t know what exactly was done with it, but the firmware flew off unambiguously. The request was to install the usual - stock firmware and, if possible, install CWM-Recovery and get root rights.

You can read what Root rights are and how you can get them for Android devices. And so, I think it's time to start the firmware process.
