How to make a phone stand? A convenient gadget made from scrap materials. Stand for iPhone from paper clips How to make a stand for iPhone from paper

Oh, those paper clips. As many of us already know (and some don't), this is one of the the best tools for office creativity that you can come up with.

In this case, I was able to come up with a design for an iPhone stand made from 3 large paper clips. The iPhone stand uses one of the arms and one of the paper clips as a base, thereby leaving a gap for the charging cable. An easy to make yet effective iPhone stand,

Materials:
- 3 paper clips - 3 large clips
- [Optional] Foam and glue
- [Optional] One small paper clip for binder

Step 1: Foundation - putting everything together

Open the two clamps and connect one to the other as shown in the picture. Then remove the outer arm of one of the two clamps. Everyone knows that the levers can be removed by pressing them (on standard clamps) This will be the base of the iPhone stand.
You can immediately remove both levers from the other large clamp.

Step 2: iPhone Stand Back - Preparation

Assemble this design.

Step 3: iPhone Stand Back - The Fun Part

Now insert the levers into each other. This is harder than it looks and the lever will likely slip out at first. If this happens, simply push the lever into place (as shown). Trust me, it's a lot easier than trying to bend the lever while keeping it in place.

Step 4: iPhone Stand Back - Closing

Now you just need to turn the paper clip forward, while the levers at the back will fall into place and the whole system will be assembled together.

Step 5: Cable - Threading through iPhone Stand

Take your favorite cable and thread it through the paper clips to the front as shown. This will look best with smaller cables (like audio and MicroUSB) rather than larger ones (like iPhone cable 4). If the cable does not fit through the metal arm, simply remove it, slide it over the cable, and lock the arm into place.

Step 6: Additional Steps

I glued a piece of polyurethane where the iPhone fits into place. This is not necessary, but it helps keep the phone in place.
If you find that your iPhone slides out of the stand too easily, simply add a little more as shown in the picture. However, the cable is designed to keep the phone in place in any case. Play with it and find what you like.

Step 7: Finished Product

Here's what the finished product looks like. Using it is very simple - connect your phone and place it on the iPhone stand.

An interesting question - how to make a phone out of paper? Gadgets have long been part of our lives, because they are so convenient and vital. Many people spend incredible amounts of money in pursuit of new products. Of course, you want to own a fashionable iPhone 6, but not everyone can afford such a purchase. We have found an interesting option for you that will suit both adults and the younger generation. Let's see how to make a phone out of paper, and what we need to have for this.

Why might we need such a toy - a paper phone? First of all, this phone mockup will be useful for parents with small children. They know that young children always show interest in the things their parents use. The child really wants to play with such a beautiful toy. And under no circumstances should you give such an expensive iPhone 6 to a child; it could all end too sadly for the phone. Give your child such a toy, and he will, looking at you, demonstrate an “adult” conversation and will not reach for your gadget.

This model, if carefully glued together, will be very similar to a real iPhone 6. This thing can be played on friends, family, acquaintances and strangers. You can come up with many funny situations and pranks.

What do we need to make a good model that is similar to the original? Of course it's a good template. Download one of our templates or search for similar templates online. Our template is good because it has sides and ears. That is, it should turn out good copy iPhone 6.

Print one of the templates on a color printer. It is better to take glossy paper, but if this is not available, a regular sheet will do.

To work you will need:

  1. iPhone 6 template printed on a piece of paper.
  2. Scissors.
  3. Stationery knife.
  4. Ruler.
  5. Pencil.
  6. PVA glue or any other.
  7. Thick cardboard.
  8. Shoe box lid.

Print out the iPhone 6 template and carefully cut it out with scissors. You need to cut carefully and clearly along the lines.

We have a phone template with sides and ears; the places where the slots will be are indicated on the ears. The slots are needed to fasten the side parts of the iPhone 6.

Next, take a utility knife and make slits in the designated fastening areas. This is convenient to do using a ruler. The cut line will be clear and even. In the future, the ears will fit into the slots and all the sides will assemble as needed.

Fold the template along the fold lines. Now we can already see the iPhone body. Next, take cardboard, it should not be too thick, about 6-7 mm. Place the template on cardboard and trace the front part of the iPhone 6 with a pencil. Cut out the blank along the drawn line. This is how the first blank turned out. Round off sharp corners with scissors.

We glue two blanks together with any glue and place this blank inside the template.

All we have to do is seal all the edges of our phone. We insert the ears into the slots of the template and glue them inside. Press with your fingers and hold for a while so that the glue holds well. So your lovely paper phone is ready.

Another version of the master class, but without printing the template:

All phone manufacturers want their gadgets to be thinner and sleeker than their competitors. Soon phones will be so thin that they can be rolled into a tube or folded like origami. For example, like this version of Origami Phone, which is not an origami phone.

Although this origami phone is made of thin plastic, you can try making this phone out of paper. To do this, you just need to transfer the drawing to the cardboard, cut out this template and cut out another part - the central part with two folds. We fold the phone along the inner dotted lines so that it takes the shape of a tube and glue the central part into the middle. The result is a children's origami phone.
