Materials:
- 3 paper clips - 3 large clips
- [Optional] Foam and glue
- [Optional] One small paper clip for binder
Step 1: Foundation - putting everything together
Open the two clamps and connect one to the other as shown in the picture. Then remove the outer arm of one of the two clamps. Everyone knows that the levers can be removed by pressing them (on standard clamps) This will be the base of the iPhone stand.

Step 3: iPhone Stand Back - The Fun Part
Now insert the levers into each other. This is harder than it looks and the lever will likely slip out at first. If this happens, simply push the lever into place (as shown). Trust me, it's a lot easier than trying to bend the lever while keeping it in place.

Now you just need to turn the paper clip forward, while the levers at the back will fall into place and the whole system will be assembled together.
Step 5: Cable - Threading through iPhone Stand
Take your favorite cable and thread it through the paper clips to the front as shown. This will look best with smaller cables (like audio and MicroUSB) rather than larger ones (like iPhone cable 4). If the cable does not fit through the metal arm, simply remove it, slide it over the cable, and lock the arm into place.
Step 6: Additional Steps
I glued a piece of polyurethane where the iPhone fits into place. This is not necessary, but it helps keep the phone in place.
If you find that your iPhone slides out of the stand too easily, simply add a little more as shown in the picture. However, the cable is designed to keep the phone in place in any case. Play with it and find what you like.

We glue two blanks together with any glue and place this blank inside the template.
