Smartphones BQ: customer reviews of the best models. Review of CS: GO - all the best from the world of shooters Show bq strike smartphones with the best processor

Traditionally, we start our reviews with the screen and case, as this is the first thing we see when any phone falls into our hands. Recently, manufacturers have learned to make very high-quality displays. This happened in the case of BQ ELEMENT. The display is good for the technology on which it is made. I mean IPS. This technology has a number of undeniable advantages. The main one is large viewing angles. Even at a very large angle, the image does not change color, and the brightness does not change critically. If we talk a little more and delve into its characteristics, then we are dealing with a five-inch display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels with a diagonal of 5 inches. And, of course, where without 2.5D glass? Here this fashionable rounding of the edges of the glass is also present.

But how can the phones of this price category in terms of visual design, this is the case. Everything here is more interesting than it seems. Yes, the case is plastic, and the back cover is removed to install the battery, but at the same time, squeaks and crackles were not detected during the test when the case was loaded. This cannot but rejoice. And the back cover is made of plastic, treated in such a way that it feels very similar to anodized aluminum in terms of tactile sensations. Well, some design elements, such as embossed BQ letters on the cover and a large camera window, allow us to attribute the phone to the top line of devices.

In the same place, on the back cover, in its lower part, there is an external speaker. It is quite loud and sonorous, so the number of missed calls will not be very large. Not the most standard solution for the location of the speaker, but quite convenient. Well, it does not close with a hand with almost any grip, unlike the traditional location on the lower edge, when you can hold it with your hand in landscape orientation devices.

What is there inside?

After studying the body of the device and its screen, the question usually arises “what is inside there?”. In fact, everything is traditional for a phone that is located at the junction of the budget and middle segments, but at the same time it is very solid. The computing capabilities of the device are based on the MT 6735 quad-core chip, which, as a rule, is installed in most smartphones of this level.

But not everyone can boast of 3 GB of RAM. There is a small plus in favor of BQ ELEMENT. Built-in memory, by the way, is only 16 GB, but it is possible to support memory cards up to 128 GB. So everyone decides for himself how much memory he needs.

The eternally classic AnTuTu test measured the phone with 34,500 points. It was naive to expect more from this hardware, but for many tasks this is quite enough, unless, of course, we are talking about the most fashionable and modern games.

Do you like taking photos and selfies?

“Of course yes,” most readers will answer. For them, the manufacturer has already offered a 16-megapixel main camera. Of course, it cannot be said that the photos are perfect, but on my own I would add that it would be better if the camera was made at 12 megapixels, but with a larger pixel size. All the same, the level of shooting will make a good half of the main competitors envy. Of course, there are interferences, and this spoils the impression a little, but nevertheless, as I already said, the camera is no worse than almost all direct competitors, which again refers to the advantages of the phone.

The front camera is 8 megapixels, which has already become the gold standard for all phones, from budget to flagships. The same matrix resolution is in BQ ELEMENT. At the same time, even in the mode without retouching, the camera introduces some smoothing into the image, which I personally do not really like, but there are many fans of this effect. Still, the camera in good lighting makes a very pleasant impression.

The camera itself supports a large number of settings, including many manual ones, as well as a document and QR code scanner in a standard photo application.

And the phone has...

It’s probably not worth stopping at various little things like Wi-Fi and LTE, but it’s worth talking about the fingerprint sensor and the number of SIM cards. There is no fingerprint scanner in this phone, which is strange, considering that the younger BOND model has it. Oh well, after all, the phone can be “locked” with graphic password and digital code standard for Android. Android in BQ ELEMENT, by the way, is the sixth version, that is, Marshmallow.

There are two SIM cards in the phone. So the buyer of BQ ELEMENT will have no problems with the division of calls into business and personal, as well as with the choice of a convenient tariff, separately for the Internet and separately for calls.

It is also worth noting a capacious 2400 mAh battery. According to the feelings from the test, the battery will easily last for a day and a half of fairly active use. Of course, if we are not talking about the constant use of a smartphone for games on the street at minus twenty. And the connector supports OTG, which is quite nice and allows you to connect to your phone various devices.

OK! What's in the kit?

The manufacturer did not stint on the package and included the following accessories:

  • BQ ELEMENT smartphone itself
  • battery
  • power adapter
  • charging cable USB phonemicro USB
  • headphones
  • protective film on the screen (in this case, one is already pasted on the screen initially)
  • Protective silicone cover on the back wall

So what's the end result?

Summing up, I would like to say that there are a lot of phones on the border of the budget and middle segments and it is difficult to compete in this niche, but BQ shows that it wants to do this and makes certain efforts to provide the consumer with a good product for reasonable money. In our opinion, they are good at it, and even if you don’t even run to buy this phone, then at least pay attention to it when choosing.

The BQ company has recently been supplying a large number of a wide variety of smartphones to Russia. They are distinguished by low price, decent quality and good performance. This article will look at some interesting models of the company, their characteristics and analysis of reviews of BQ smartphones.

5201 space

The design is nothing special, except for the plastic inserts along the bottom and top edges, separated by shiny lines.

The weight of the device is not felt in the hand. The phone is convenient and practical. Even if the smartphone is squeezed a little in the palm of your hand, no squeaks and backlashes are heard, that is, the device is assembled quite qualitatively.

On the front, there are elements classic for smartphones. This is a screen, a set of sensors, a camera and speaker. A rather rare element that can be found in modern "smart" phones - the indicator of missed calls and SMS is also posted here.

There is also a single physical button that can perform three functions at once. First, it is a fingerprint scanner. Second, she can understand touch. And thirdly, it responds to physical pressure.

Iron

The display is based on an IPS matrix. Its resolution is 1280 by 720. At this size, the pixel density is 282 pixels per inch. When you change the angle, the image practically does not change, except that the color is slightly distorted.

The battery capacity is 4000 mAh. With average use, the charge should last about a full day.

The limit of the network standards used in this smartphone is 4G.

There is enough memory in the device - 3 GB of RAM and 32 built-in.

The cameras have not the smallest indicator in terms of megapixels - 16 and 13.

Mediatek MT6753 is used as the engine of the device, which, in fact, is not so innovative. It has 8 cores clocked at 1.3GHz. Such hardware allows the operating system to operate smoothly and without freezes.

As for the reviews of the BQ BQ-5201 smartphone, there are not so many of them. Basically, users note an excellent screen, good cameras and affordable price. One of the owners in his review of the BQ-5201 Space smartphone said that the processor used in it is really budget and “sags” a little in the latest heavy games.

In general, the smartphone is ideal for everyday use. Several instant messengers, a browser, medium-sized toys - the smartphone will cope with all this with a bang.

BQ-5059

A more understandable name for this model is Strike Power. This is one of the new products from BQ. Perhaps the most important difference between a smartphone and analogues is a really powerful 5000 mAh battery. The rest of the parameters are more standard.

The device is equipped with a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 by 720. The RAM is only 1 GB, which is a little topical solution for modern gadget. Its own memory in the device is 8 GB. To communicate with other devices, there are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interfaces. And in order not to get lost in an unfamiliar area, there is a GPS.

The device has two slots for SIM cards, which can operate in a mode no higher than 3G.

Overview of responses about the device

Reviews about the smartphone BQ-5059 Strike are often positive. In general, the phone is really not bad. The large capacity of the battery is especially reflected in almost every review. There are also feedback about the support of the OTG standard.

Naturally, almost all reviews of the BQ-5059 smartphone reflect a low price.

Performance shouldn't be discounted either. In the presented phone, it is also mentioned in many responses. Users note the smoothness of applications and many modern games.

As for the criticism in the reviews of the BQ-5059 Strike Power smartphone, it is also present. For example, some did not like the quality of the camera shots. Well, the performance is a little lame in games that are particularly demanding on system resources.

It seemed to someone in the review of the BQ-5059 that the presented 3G standard would not be enough. With the lightning-fast development of 4G technology and the widespread distribution, it could be included in this smartphone.

Some have certain problems with the software. In particular, one of the owners noted that when installing a third-party widget, a severe freeze occurs.

The touch screen does not always have the necessary sensitivity. There are false positives during operation or “phantom” touches.

Navigation is not implemented in the most reliable way. Satellites may not be located for a long time, even in good cloudless weather. Stability also let us down, and you can lose all the communication divisions on the screen even for no apparent reason.

BQS-4800 Blade

This smartphone is out of the general assortment of the company. It has an interesting and attractive design. According to the assurances of the developers, its body is made of special aviation aluminum. Moreover, its weight is only 100 grams. This is one of the lightest smartphones in the entire palette of modern gadgets. The device is equipped with protective glass Gorilla Glass, and on both sides. Its thickness is only 5 mm.

The screen size of the smartphone is 4.8 inches with a resolution of 1280 by 720. The display type is AMOLED. Good performance is guaranteed by the Snapdragon 410 processor with 4 cores and 1200 MHz frequency. Adreno 306 provides video support. 16 GB is allocated for storing files and applications. And operational here - 2.

The smartphone knows how to work in the latest generation networks - 4G. To connect the rest of the peripherals, there are Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth. The battery in the device is not the most powerful - only 2000 mAh. And the operating system is not the latest - "Android 5.0".

User comments

Reviews of the BQ-4800 smartphone reflect it main feature- unusual design and small thickness. True, this same factor can also become negative - for example, it is very easy to damage it in your pocket.

The screen, judging by the reviews of the BQ-4800 smartphone, is very bright and clear, with a convenient diagonal size. The owners consider the presence of an indicator on the case notifying about missed calls and SMS to be an undoubted advantage. The quality of the speakers and microphone is at a decent level. The Internet is fast and without interruptions.

As for the negative reviews about the BQ smartphone, among them there are responses to the lack of a slot for a flash card and a second SIM. Also, with very active use, the 2000 mAh battery loses its charge in less than a day. The prospects for the transition to more new version operating system.

BQS-3503

Of the entire range of BQ, this smartphone has the lowest cost. You can buy it, depending on the store, for from 1500 to 2500 rubles. For such money, a very modest filling is offered. The screen of the smartphone is only 3.5 inches, but the resolution for this size is not bad - 480 by 320. There are two cameras on the device - front and rear. Both are 2 MP and can record video. The available communication interface is 2G. There are two slots for SIM cards.

Own memory for the current realities is not enough - 512 MB. Operational - 256. But you can expand the volume up to 32 GB using an SD card. The battery matches the device and has a capacity of only 1200 mAh. Android 2.3 is installed on the device, which is both morally and technically outdated. Majority modern applications already have a minimum version threshold of 4.4.

The reviews are mostly negative. They concern both performance and the quality of the screen, pictures. Also, the version of the operating system has no chance of being upgraded to the latest release.

In general, this device is aimed at those who need a “dialer” for a while, or for a child to master, with a subsequent transition to more serious devices.

BQ-5057

An average smartphone that can satisfy the tastes and needs of most users. Its average price is 5 thousand rubles. For a 5-inch screen, it has a quite acceptable resolution - 1280 by 720. The display matrix is made using IPS technology. The smartphone can operate in network modes not higher than 3G. To do this, you can use two slots for SIM cards provided by the design.

Inside is a productive MT6580 with 4 cores and a frequency of 1300 MHz. Mali-400 MP2 is responsible for rendering video data. With memory sizes, everything is not so bad - 8 and 1 GB. The first indicator is the total memory, the second is the “RAM”.

Not the most capacious 2500 mAh battery is responsible for providing the smartphone with energy. There are two cameras on the device - the main one has 13 MP, the front one has 8 MP. Operating system - "Android" of the latest 7th version.

Users rated this device positively. Many liked the good display with large viewing angles, the latest version of Android, acceptable image quality from the cameras and high performance. Naturally, the price flashes in many reviews as one of the most positive factors.

There were not many shortcomings found. In many cases, they are associated with low battery capacity. 2500 mAh are consumed in just half a day with intensive use.

Also, one of the owners noticed the lack of A-GPS, a system without which the search time for satellites increases slightly.

BQ-5510 Strike Power

This model is another example of a "long-playing" smartphone. It is equipped with a capacious battery and at the same time has a good hardware.

The design of the device is nothing special. Is that a little more than usual, the thickness of the body. In its depths, a 4-core MT6737 processor is constantly working. The Mali T720 is responsible for the graphics. Built-in and random access memory- 8 and 1 GB, respectively. The storage can be expanded up to 128 GB using an SD card.

Software presented latest version"Android 7.0". The screen is based on a 5.5-inch IPS matrix. The resolution could be used even more - 1280 by 720.

Cameras on the device 2. One has 13 MP, the second - 8. All communication modes available today are supported.

Well, the most important thing is the huge capacity of the battery. Here it has as much as 5000 mAh.

Responses

There are not so many reviews about the BQ Strike 5510 smartphone, but judging by them, you can understand that the device turned out to be worthy. Firstly, the large capacity of the battery is positively evaluated, from which the device can operate for two days. Excellent performance allows you to comfortably use even demanding applications and games. The signal is received well and is stable, including in 4G mode.

As for the minuses reflected in the reviews of the BQ Strike Power 5510 smartphone, users speak out about the RAM, which could be installed more. Also on the smartphone there are pre-installed applications. But users in their reviews of the BQ Strike 5510 smartphone note that removing them is not difficult.

BQ-5202 Space Lite

This smartphone is a “light version” of the 5201 Space model. It is equipped with a 5.2-inch screen and a resolution of 1280 by 720. The RAM is slightly less, unlike its older brother - 2 GB. Also, the built-in memory is reduced by half and is equal to 16 GB. Almost all other characteristics of the phone remained at the level of the Space model.

In 2016, a sufficient number of interesting low-cost smartphones which remain relevant to this day. Among them, in particular, the smartphone BQS 5020 strike. This model is interesting with a good camera and screen, a sturdy body, decent performance indicators, and all this at a price of less than 6 thousand rubles. Is it real? We offer you to understand the review of BQ 5020 strike.

BQ usually delivers its smartphones in bright packaging, which clearly shows the main advantages of the product. Here we see that the camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels, a screen with an IPS matrix and an Android 6.0 operating system. The combination, frankly, is impressive for this price category.

In the package we see a micro-USB cable, headphones, here are the instructions for use and the warranty card. Just want to remind you that BQ is Russian manufacturer, so it will be easy to understand the instructions, and it will not be difficult to use warranty rights if necessary.

Design

Can be purchased this model BQS phone in several body colors. Classic black looks best, or, alternatively, you can consider gray. The assembly is excellent, there are no squeaks and backlashes. The details fit as reliably as possible, so using such a gadget is a pleasure. In the hand, the phone lies like a glove, it does not cause any discomfort.

In the central part of the back cover, the manufacturer claims the presence of metal inserts. They really are, and with their help, the rigidity of the structure increases, and the heat dissipation is also optimized.

All external surfaces come with a matte finish, so the phone does not get dirty and greasy fingerprints do not appear on it. Relatively easily soiled is only the screen.

To the right sidebar the volume rocker is removed, and the power button is right there. All buttons are securely and tightly fixed in the case, when you press them, there are no rattling and unpleasant sounds. On the top edge you will find headphone and micro-USB jacks.

The front panel is protected by special glass. Immediately below the screen, there are three touch buttons that work without backlighting. Their functionality is quite standard, but can be configured additionally manually.

Above the screen there is a voice speaker, a front camera module and several sensors. The main camera on the back side is somewhat separated from the total area of the cover. There is an LED flash next to the module. It is important that the camera does not protrude above the surface of the case, so it will not be scratched and dirty.

The back cover can be removed if necessary. There are two compartments for SIM cards (micro and nano), and right there a slot for a memory card. The battery is removable, so if it fails, you don’t have to immediately run for a new phone.

Screen

Screen resolution of 5 inches HD, IPS matrix with excellent color reproduction. Pleased with decent detail and color saturation. The disadvantages include the fact that even at maximum brightness in the sun, the image fades. At the same time, the phone supports two touches, the sensor works without failures.

Performance

The filling of BQS strike BQS 5020 Mobile is as follows: the MediaTek MT6580 chip is combined with the Mali400MP2 graphics accelerator. This combination gives not the maximum, but an acceptable level of performance, suitable for everyday use of a smartphone in mixed mode. You can not only watch videos and read from the screen, but also play various games, although with restrictions on maximum settings.

There is very little RAM and internal memory - 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. internal storage. It is clear that this is not enough for data storage, therefore, support for large-capacity memory cards is provided.

Camera

The main camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels and autofocus, while the front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels. Using both cameras is comfortable through the built-in application, which has creative modes and optional manual settings.

If we draw conclusions about cameras from experience, we can say that with sufficient illumination, they can be used to get good pictures, but as soon as it gets dark, noticeable noises appear.

To better understand the quality of smartphone photography, we recommend watching its video review.

Software

On board Android 6.0 without any proprietary tweaks or skins. The desktop has icons that help you quickly install any application. If you don't want to clutter up your memory with them, it's easy to delete them directly from the home screen. System updates are done over the air.

autonomy

The battery capacity is not impressive - only 2000 mAh. If you stubbornly and persistently load the phone, it will last a little more than 3 hours without recharging. In mixed mode, it is enough for about a day of work.

conclusions

The BQ 5020 Strike is an inexpensive and attractive phone with good screen, solid and more than once proven software and decent cameras. It is not without obvious drawbacks, such as the minimum amount of RAM and built-in memory or a weak battery, but for its money, the gadget looks just fine.

In an attempt to bring a smartphone as close as possible to a simple terminal for accessing the Internet, consisting mostly of a display, each company is looking for its own ways - or copying others. LG came up with the idea of installing elongated 18: 9 screens in devices - and immediately provoked a flurry similar decisions which will probably never stop. Apple came up with the idea of using the widest possible surface, "climbing" the display also on the block with the front camera and sensors, and thereby giving rise to a "monobrow". At first, it caused inevitable irony, but now it has become a familiar element of smartphones, including A-brands, for example, or. However cheap phones with a cutout is still quite a bit, and BQ Universe is one of the first-born of the transfer this decision to the masses.

This is a smartphone of an almost "premium" price category for BQ - the company basically does not undertake the production of devices priced more than 20 thousand rubles. The flagship is offered for 14,990 rubles. Universe, on the other hand, costs 12,990 rubles at the start of sales, occupying one of the top positions in the company's product family. Along with the notch - very small, by the way, only the front camera (very decent, 16-megapixel) is inscribed in it - it offers a six-inch 19: 9 HD screen, a lone rear camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 platform and fashionable mirror finish on the back of the case.

Design, ergonomics and software

Cut-out in the middle of the display in combination with a mirror rear panel makes everyone who sees you with this smartphone, an obvious desire to clarify - is this the iPhone X? No, not him, and even the cutout itself is different here, in which only the window of the front camera lens is inscribed, without additional elements: the status indicator and the light sensor are located above the display, in the upper frame; there is also a conversational speaker.

As a result, it is difficult to talk about full-fledged framelessness. The display occupies almost the entire surface of the front panel, leaving no room for navigation keys, but the smartphone does not quite match the render images presented on the official BQ website: the frames are quite noticeable, the display is not bent in the manner of Samsung. Nevertheless, it is difficult to make serious claims about the lack of elegance to an inexpensive device.

BQ Universe is tailored very well - the front panel is covered with glass, and the back panel is covered with mirrored fiberglass, which can only be distinguished from glass by touch (and this is not accurate). The edges are lined with metal with plastic inserts for the correct operation of the antennas.

In a relatively small case (comparable in size to the BQ Space X), it was possible to place a 6-inch display - and even though, due to the elongation of square centimeters, it is not much larger than that of the 5.7-inch screen of the same Space X, but the usable area is all grew up anyway.

BQ Universe easily fits into any pocket, and due to the rounded edges of the back, it is very comfortable to hold in your hand. But it is no longer possible to reach the corners of the screen with the fingers of the same hand - this is a “two-handed” gadget, like almost all modern smartphones (with rare exceptions in the face of LG Q7 +, for example).

By recruitment and placement functional elements BQ Universe is quite traditional: the physical power and volume keys are on the right side, the slot for SIM cards and memory cards is on the right side, the microUSB port is on the bottom, and the mini-jack (the cosplay is still not full-fledged) is on the top.

There are many ways to unlock BQ Universe: using a password, PIN code, graphic key, fingerprint scanner and face recognition. By default, the smartphone offers to use the fingerprint method. For this, a traditional capacitive sensor is used, located on the rear panel in the center - in an ideal place for this. It does not demonstrate supernatural speed of work, but it is also difficult to make claims - unlocking occurs quickly enough, without annoying errors and the need to repeatedly touch the sensor.

If you wish, you can also use the function of unlocking the device with the help of your face - this is offered by default by all smartphones on Android 8.0, except for those that have been banned directly by the manufacturer. You can find and set up Face Unlock in the "Security and location" section, but before relying on front camera(there is no special sensor here), you need to “sign” an agreement that BQ is not responsible for unlocking your gadget using, for example, a simple photo. The method is not very reliable in its current state - better trust the fingerprint scanner. Moreover, face recognition works here neither shaky nor roll - at least much slower than fingerprinting.

BQ Universe runs on an operating system Google Android 8.0 oreo. This system thinks quickly, and the influence of BQ manifests itself only in terms of integrating a large number local services How on main screen, and in the notification shade. Here you can find anything - from the additional Yandex search line and Alice with her weather reports - to the AliExpress and Gift of Life applications.

The screen area around the cutout for the front camera is used, by the way, not only to place the status bar there, but also for various applications - for example, the player control panel goes there when playing music.

Display and sound

The BQ Universe has a six-inch LCD display with an IPS matrix with a resolution of 1529 × 720 pixels and a pixel density of 261 ppi. The level, frankly, is not high, for 6 inches HD resolution is no longer enough - pixelation in fonts is noticeable.

The matrix behaves approximately the same as in the BQ Aurora - when the gaze deviates from the perpendicular, the contrast drops sharply, but the color rendition as such remains intact. Touchpad responds to five simultaneous touches, supports multi-touch gestures, there is a mode of operation with gloves.

But in terms of brightness, the Universe display is slightly inferior to the Aurora screen - the maximum measured level here was 481 cd / m 2. The polarization layer is in place, there is no interfering air gap, however, the device will not provide absolute comfort when used on a sunny day - you can read anything without problems, but, for example, a YouTube video noticeably loses color reproduction. Also, the smartphone in theory is able to independently determine the brightness of the backlight.

The contrast level is 1007:1. The average level for a mobile IPS matrix in this price category.

The average gamma is 2.02 - not a very good indicator, and the curves, as you can see on the graph, "fly into space" on light grays. The color temperature is too high: from 9,000 K to values that do not fall on the chart, which is limited to 11,000 K. The colors are much colder than even what we usually see on modern mobile devices, let alone the sRGB standard. The color space of the Universe screen is 82% of NTSC, which is slightly more than the standard sRGB coverage. This is clearly seen in our chart. The average DeltaE deviation for the extended Color Checker palette (shades of gray + a wide range of color shades) is expectedly high - 8.70. At the same time, unfortunately, it is impossible to adjust the color rendering of BQ Universe.

BQ is known on the Russian market for occupying the niche of the most affordable smartphones, but at the same time trying to offer customers good functionality and adequate specifications. At the very end of 2017, it went on sale Smartphone Space X. At Rs. The manufacturer himself calls this solution “frameless”, but it would be more correct to talk about an elongated screen with a fairly narrow perimeter. The protective glass has a neat rounding to the edge, the so-called 2.5D effect. This improves not only the aesthetic characteristics of the device, but also ergonomics - the smooth edges of the glass do not dig into the hand and provide a comfortable grip. In addition, the BQ Space X screen has a factory-installed film, so that customers who prefer additional protection do not have to look for it in stores and spend extra money.

If speak about technical specifications screen, BQ Space X uses IPS matrix with a diagonal of 5.7 inches and a resolution of 1440x720 pixels. The screen brightness is quite high, the contrast and color saturation are average, the viewing angles are close to the maximum and the picture on the screen does not change significantly when the smartphone is tilted. The smartphone display is an inexpensive but high-quality panel, and in the case of Space X it also has an aspect ratio of 18:9, which is rare in this segment, as a result of which more information is displayed on the screen, and the user has to scroll less often when reading or browsing sites. With operating system optimization and third party applications most often there are no problems - display proportions are supported at the platform level.

In terms of design, BQ Space X is in line with current trends in mid-range smartphones. The non-separable body is made of black metal, it is quite thin (only 8.3 mm) and rounded at the edges to improve ergonomics. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back panel, below the slightly protruding main camera. By the way, the camera module is vertically oriented in terms of the location of optics and flash, and it is also effectively highlighted against the background of the rest of the body. There is also a BQ logo on the back, and contrasting strips of gray plastic pass through the top and bottom of the case, which ensure the passage of the signal of the modules wireless connections. Interestingly, BQ did not try to hide these inserts and turned them into a design element of the back panel due to a different shade. Needless to say, it looks good.

The main camera of BQ Space X is a module with a 16 megapixel matrix, quite typical for the budget segment. It does its job well in ideal lighting conditions, but fails at dusk, in difficult artificial light or in the twilight of parties. The quality of the photos is quite good for publishing on a social network after processing in good editors like VSCO, but don't expect miracles. The front camera turned out to be much more interesting. The manufacturer decided to bet on the demand for selfies and offered a full range of popular technologies. Firstly, it uses a dual module of 20 and 8 megapixel cameras with a choice between regular and wide viewing angles of 120 degrees. Secondly, there are software algorithms for improving portraits. Thirdly, in addition to the fingerprint scanner, an unlocking system based on face recognition has been added. Even if it cannot be called very reliable without additional sensors, it is quite suitable for everyday use and protecting data from strangers.

Responsible for the performance of the eight-core Snapdragon 430 and 3 GB of RAM. The processor cannot be called very powerful, but it is good that such an inexpensive device uses a Qualcomm chip, which provides decent performance and energy efficiency. There are no questions about the operation of the operating system and various applications; you can also play on your smartphone without any problems. True, if possible, it is worth choosing medium or low graphics settings in order to get decent FPS values in demanding games. In general, in terms of performance, BQ Space X belongs to good decisions entry-level, that is, it closes all the main tasks of the average user without the need to make serious compromises or severely limit oneself in something. Autonomy is also at an adequate level due to the optimal choice of components for this class. However, it all depends on individual usage scenarios.

Of the current smartphone, only water protection and a connector are missing. USB Type-C instead of the usual microUSB. However, we must not forget about the cost, it is only 13,990 rubles. For this money, the manufacturer was already able to do quite a lot of interesting things so that the smartphone deserves attention and is competitive with other models in the price segment up to fourteen thousand rubles. BQ Space X will be an excellent choice for anyone looking for an inexpensive and quality smartphone. For example, it can be recommended for purchase both for schoolchildren or students, and for older people. The former will appreciate the Full View screen, front camera and attractive design, the latter will appreciate the ease of use and low cost of the device.
