Indeed, in the case of buying a kit, only the conditional price of the device will be returned, i.e. 990 rubles.
Despite the “completeness” of the smartphone with a tariff, the purchase does not necessarily provide for a new connection. For prepaid subscribers, the kit is available by switching to it with your own number. For subscribers of postpaid tariffs - alas, only once again become a Beeline subscriber.

Beeline E600 can be considered another representative of the “just smartphones” family. A compromise that is designed to meet the needs of both the operator and the subscriber. The buyer purchases a full-fledged smartphone for very little money, the operator acquires a subscriber who, with a high degree of probability, will pay a monthly subscription for unlimited Mobile Internet. And, perhaps, voluntarily or accidentally buys a certain amount of content, that's the same thing.
Times of enthusiasm about “wow, a whole smartphone for the price of a phone!” are gradually fading away. Budget smartphones at their prices are getting closer to phones and it is possible that in the near future any device more complicated than a primitive “dialer” will have operating system. BUT cellular operators they tend to push this process because of their selfish interests. A modern business model and an effective scheme for increasing the average income per subscriber soul.
Positioning
There are enough options for that kind of money: as the first Android smartphone (try it), a phone for a demanding child (it’s not a pity to lose it, take it away or break it), as a mobile router with the function telephone connection(to the country) or a second phone instead of the usual "dialer".
Going into the load "All Inclusive" forms an additional consumer niche of those who are thinking about switching to this tariff. Equipment and design
The standard set includes a headset, a charger, a USB-microUSB connection cable and a User's Guide. Map microSD memory 4 GB is included and already installed in the device. Nothing special or outstanding, except that the charger with a USB socket on a separate short tail looks unusual. A memory with an output current of 0.7 A pleases only with its compactness, if dimensions are critical for you. As a small consolation: in such dimensions they could have made quite sad 0.5 A.
The time to fully charge the smartphone from a regular charger is about three hours, from charger with an output current of 2.0 A - exactly two hours.
Color options - white, black and yellow, the back is finely corrugated, the inscription "Beeline" on the back cover is not aggressive. The white version, in my opinion, is the most advantageous, although "all felt-tip pens are different in taste and color." I was sincerely pleased with the absence of a pseudo-chrome rim and the same buttons that stuck in my teeth, this is a plus.
There is no need to talk about super-design, but Beeline E600 is not just a "remnant". They obviously worked on the shape of the case and tried to give the budget device some individuality with the geometry of the bends. It seems that the designers of ZTE Corporation succeeded in this. The smartphone is cute, fits well in the hand and even looks elegant, I'm not afraid of this word. To stick a better screen into such a case would make an excellent smartphone of the “no show-off” category.
Design features
Protective film on the screen is also the hallmark of the main characteristics, this is the right decision. Before tearing off the film, the user is once again reminded of what a wonderful device he has purchased, and a potential buyer removes a number of traditional questions during the initial examination.
The 320 x 240 resolution screen is a frank weakness of this budget device, but the viewing angles turned out to be unexpectedly decent. Colors are inverted only when the lower part is tilted forward vertically, in the remaining three planes, even strong deviations did not distort the color rendering very much. Those. it could have been much worse.
The inside of the smartphone is “packed” quite tightly, the thickness of 12.6 mm is not bad for a budget device. Despite the fact that the camera does not go beyond the dimensions, but on the contrary, it is slightly recessed. The lack of extra bulges pleases. It is a pity that they were not generous even with a cheap LED flash. It is of little use for photography, but it takes up almost no space and costs a penny, and additional function a flashlight might come in handy.
An important detail is the slot provided for prying the back cover with a fingernail. We could make it not so big, but let's not find fault. Better one than none at all. The microUSB socket is in its usual place at the bottom.
The microphone is strongly shifted to the left (orientation under the speaker's right hand), but this does not affect the sound quality, there were no complaints. The left hand does not block the microphone hole during a conversation.
The multifunctional power button is flush with the body. So precise that even a finger gropes only as a slight roughness. Some will grumble, others will like it, a matter of taste.
The volume rocker is good. Raised just right and the dividing slot is comfortable. For volume and quality conversational speaker no complaints either.
The phone has a light sensor and it is used to control the illumination of the control buttons, for which the developer is a big plus. With four buttons in the dark without such backlighting, you regularly miss.
But the auto-brightness mode did not please. It's good that it exists in principle, budget smartphones are not always equipped with a light sensor. But the brightness of the display in auto mode, in my opinion, is insufficient. And in general, with the brightness of the backlight it does not matter. At maximum, the screen is even more or less comfortable during the day on the street, but in sunlight it becomes completely unreadable.
I have a suspicion that the deliberately "strangled" brightness of the display, the developers sought to extend the operating time of the device from a single charge. The 1200 mAh battery is rather weak for a modern smartphone, even taking into account the moderate power consumption of the low-resolution display.
FM radio is up and running. Unfortunately, there is no built-in antenna and a headset is required to listen to radio broadcasts.
Additional pleasantness - multifunctional led indicator on the top of the front panel. Indicates missed events, incoming messages, low battery, etc. In charging mode, it changes color to green when the charge level is more than 90%, which may provoke the user to turn off the charger before the end of the full charge cycle. In general, the indicator is very useful and I really miss it on much more thoroughbred devices.
Display
As already mentioned above, a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 480, capacitive, TFT, 262 thousand colors. There is no protective glass, from damage when throwing the phone on the table protects the side in fractions of a millimeter along the edges of the screen.
The color rendition is lame (obvious cyanosis), but I have seen worse on such displays. But the viewing angles are much better than expected. Small and even medium text is unpleasant to read, nothing can be done about it. Not very good responsiveness to pressing and it seemed to me that it was completely unimportant at the edges of the screen. Critical for programs with control buttons at the very top edge, but not fatal, a matter of habit.

For a screen of this resolution, the resources are quite enough and the smartphone works faster than many more “advanced” devices. Some concern is the volume internal memory to install applications.
After downloading all the updates and installing a few applications I need, the system shows a decent volume free space. This is despite the fact that I did not install or transfer anything to the SD card. pre-installed on the smartphone Chrome browser and office suite kingston office. I have nothing against these programs, but not everyone needs them, and it is impossible to delete them or transfer them to a memory card using regular means, this is a minus.
Camera
Camera resolution is 3.2 megapixels, the maximum image resolution is 2048 x 1536 in a 4:3 aspect ratio, there is no autofocus. The camera is quite weak big screen the pictures don't look good. In the photo above - the best that I managed to achieve in conditions of ideal lighting and a winning landscape. It can be considered a standard and exemplary image for this camera.
The correctness of color reproduction is a separate issue (a little lower), but at least you can fight it. But the lack of sharpness, even in ideal shooting conditions, no photoshop will help, this is already fatal. An unsuccessful camera, a 2.0 megapixel module in a phone produced in 2007, gave much better pictures. The sad result of many years of technological progress. In fairness, I note that the 3.2 megapixel cameras that fell into my hands on other Androids did not shoot much better.
About color rendering. Auto settings will result in color imbalance and a non-linear progressive blue fade in almost all shooting conditions, with the exception of bright sunlight. Selecting a script from the menu doesn't really help either. It should be taken for granted and not suffer, the resulting images are only suitable for viewing on the screens of portable devices.
An example of an attempt at utilitarian use of the camera, a photo of the information stand near the entrance door. You can see for yourself, the attempt is unsuccessful, with such a width of the subject, the text is already unreadable.
Photos of small ads are decent and easy to read even on the phone display. Here the camera is appropriate and performs its functions. Simply, you need to be aware of the capabilities and limits of the camera of a budget smartphone, album wedding photos he is unable to. Perhaps, “bows” of different varieties with a close-up face will look good, the innate blurring of the image in this case may turn out to be in place and beneficial.
Digital zoom is present, but there is little practical use for it, the quality of the resulting images is completely “no”. It is better not to use the zoom and forget about its existence altogether, cutting out the desired piece from a full-size image will take a minimum of time and will give a much better result.
As some compensation, there is a good toolkit for image processing, the editor is organized intuitively. You can correct the color, but there is a risk of going too far, since the screen itself adds blue to the image. There is also a set of special effects for fans of such entertainment. For example, the special effect with the intriguing name "Senseless" allows you to write or draw with your finger on the picture.
The maximum video resolution is VGA, I will leave the quality of the video sequence without comment in order to avoid blocking the Mobile-Review site by Roskomnadzor.
"Beeline"
A pre-installed proprietary Beeline application, which I have not come across before. 5 MB, does not transfer to the SD card, but allows itself to be deleted. I am rather skeptical about operator applications, but there are benefits from such products. Declared main functions:

- Top up your account or any other Beeline phone
- Connect and disconnect basic services
- Participate in bonus programs, for example Hi-Light Club and Raspberry
- Read Beeline news
- Find the nearest Beeline office
- Mark in the notebook of Beeline subscribers
It seems to work as stated, although I have not experimented with connecting services and paying. According to the announcement on the operator's website, the iOS version has already appeared in beta.
Impressions from work
I have already written enough about the features of the screen, with all its shortcomings you can use it. There are no complaints about the audio part: the voice speaker is normal and sounds without distortion, the multimedia lacks volume, but that was predictable. I was pleased with the pre-installed control panel for the main functions (brightness, screen rotation, GPS, Wi-Fi, synchronization, etc.): almost a complete set of everything you need and, in my opinion, one of the most successful implementations of such a solution.
With data transfer from the smartphone, everything is surprisingly good: the radio unit is quite sensitive and in the “Auto” mode clings to 3G even with a weak signal. With speed characteristics, everything is fine, the smartphone, within its capabilities, takes from the network everything that the network is ready to give.
Willy-nilly, I tested data transmission in GPRS mode (not EDGE) and made sure that even without EDGE you can live if you feel like it. Of course, Opera Mini is recommended for this mode, the built-in browser loads pages painfully for a long time.
As I already wrote, if there is 3G coverage, there are no complaints about the smartphone. In access point mode, it distributes the Internet confidently, but very short distance. More than 15 meters of line of sight without obstacles, I would not count.
The curious effect of self-disabling the access point mode in case of failures in data transfer over cellular network, observed this phenomenon three times. I have never encountered this before and I don’t even know how to interpret it: a bug or a feature? 
The Wi-Fi module works flawlessly, and given the budget of the device, it's just fine. For a smartphone, losses in the speed of downloading data via Wi-Fi are not critical, but the absence of noticeable losses is still pleasing.
Comparison with "classmates"
MTS has been selling the MTS 970 smartphone with similar characteristics since June, locked under the MTS network, you can see the description. Advantages - Android 4.1 operating system instead of 4.0 in Beeline E600 and, according to one of the reviews, the presence of a 0.3 MP front camera. In the description and those. specifications on the website front camera nothing is said, but I am inclined to believe the author of the review. Unfortunately, I did not have this device on the test. The obvious drawback is the price of 2,890 rubles, for this money we get only the smartphone itself, complete with advice to connect the SuperBIT option, which costs 150 rubles / month until the end of summer. At least that's how it's described on the MTS website. But there is a little trick. If you come to the MTS salon, lead the seller into a corner and whisper the “Mobile-Review” password in his ear, then this MTS 970 will be sold to you at a discount (for 2,690 rubles) and they will give you six months of unlimited Internet (BIT) to your “native” SIM card. Or a freshly bought one, but a new connection is not necessary. As for the password, of course, I'm joking, but there is such a promotion and is valid until August 31.
In MegaFon, a similar smartphone "MegaFon Login" has been on sale since March this year at a price of 2,620 rubles, in the kit - unlimited Internet for three months, you can read our review. The Beeline E600 kit looks obviously more interesting in terms of package parameters and qualities of the device, but four months is a long time for the mobile phone market.
Summary
The Beeline E600 smartphone is definitely worth the money they ask for it. To date, this set, in terms of the totality of consumer characteristics, looks like the most attractive option on the market of operator models. budget smartphones. Also pleased with the appearance of "grocery kits" complete with the most affordable devices, and not just expensive flagships.
